Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking a highly organised, professional and motivated Executive Support Officer - Administration to join our Executive Office.This is a key position providing confidential, high-level executive and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, Mayor and Councillors, while coordinating governance, executive office functions and civic activities. Working as part of the Executive Office, you will play an important role in ensuring the efficient delivery of Council's administrative, governance and stakeholder engagement functions. What We Offer: Full-time- (Stream A) Level 4-5 $80,800-$89,700 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience) + Superannuation5 weeks Annual Leave (with 17.5% Leave Loading)Monthly RDO (13 per year)Personal (Sick) LeaveRemote Area Housing Assistance ($60 pw Renting / $90 pw Homeowner)Locality Allowance About the Role Reporting to the Executive Officer Coordinator, this role provides confidential executive and administrative support within the Executive Office and plays a key role in supporting governance, council administration, and civic functions. You will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Mayor, Councillors and key stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of executive and governance activities. This position also contributes to coordinating executive schedules, prepares reports and meeting documentation, supports Council meetings, maintains governance records, and assists with stakeholder engagement, communications, and community initiatives.
